Cameroon GCE 2015 results released

The Cameroon General Certification Examination-GCE Board has released the results of last June 2015 session. According to the published statistics, GCE Ordinary Level recorded a better performance scoring 44.93% as compared to 34.41% recorded in 2014 session. On the other hand, the GCE Advanced Level, dropped from 63.98 per cent success down to 60.41 per cent this year. 12 schools scored a 100% in A Level while 17 scored a 100%.  For the GCE Technical results, we do not have the statistics. However, the Registrar of the GCE Board, Humphrey Ekema Monono is is still expected to clear the air on widespread allegations that the GCE leaked this year in all centres around the country given that the number os schools suspended have increased. However, the mode of accessing to results just like last year is through Mobile Telephone companies. This is done by texting  (SMS) consisting of candidate’s centre number and candidate’s number and name (without spaces, comma, full stop or dash) to 8006.Last year, the mtn code was 8070


Nigeria’ President Buhari visits President Paul Biya


The high point of the visit of the Nigerian President H.E. Muhammadu BUHARI consisted of discussions with his Cameroonian counterpart His Excellency Paul BIYA at Unity Palace. The two leaders met for nearly two hours, during which they made an overview of the close cooperation ties that link Cameroon and Nigeria.

Following his arrival in Yaounde this morning, President BUHARI, after a brief stop to rest at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel, came to Unity Palace at 2 pm and was greeted on arrival by President Paul BIYA.

The two leaders then proceeded to the office of the Cameroonian Head of State where they spent time in tête-à-tête discussions that were likely related to the fight against the Boko Haram terrorist group which has been killing scores of civilians in both countries with suicide bombers. The two leaders also exchanged gifts to solidify their friendship.

It should be noted that President BUHARI was accompanied to Cameroon by a high powered official delegation which included the following personalities:

– Mr. KASHIM SHETTIMA, Governor of Borno state;

-Mr. JIBRILLA BINDOW, Governor of Adamawa state;

The nominations are out, and our favorite girls ( Coco Argentee, Mani Bella and Lady Ponce) are all nominated.
